IMPORTANT INFORMATION

At the recent AGM. it was decided that the following charges will now apply:

Coach fares… members £8.00, Non members & guests £10.00

Subscriptions… adult members £15.00, Students / juniors £10.00,

Family (2x adult & 2 x child) £35.00

Family (1 x adult & 2 x child) £20.00

The recent change in bus companies has made the increase in coach fare inevitable as we have been unable to get any company to provide the same price as Smiths had been charging. Other factors such as companies requiring payment up front, the ever rising cost of fuel & the general trend of most companies running 49 seat coaches instead of 53 have all contributed to a sharp increase in “price per seat” for the club. On some trips the coach cost is up by almost £100. this issue was debated at the AGM, with all the options disclosed & a proposal was carried that the coach fare & subscription be set at the above charges.

Over the next few months we shall be using different coach operators depending on price & service.

It would be a great help if members could pay their annual subscriptions on the next coach trip…………. or use the form with this newsletter & send to steve churchard
